Hundreds turn out for campaign kick-off to OPPOSE Measure 105

This past weekend, over 400 people turned out at events held in 10 cities across Oregon to show their opposition to Measure 105. Nearly 500 volunteers helped secure endorsements from 200 local businesses.

Prior to Saturday's events, over 130 businesses, organizations, faith, law enforcement and labor leaders had already joined the coalition to defeat Measure 105. Learn more about our coalition here.

“We had an incredible turnout of people all across the state today to say no to eliminating Oregon’s anti-profiling law,” said campaign manager Cristina Marquez. “It was very inspiring to see people of all backgrounds hit the streets in their towns to let their neighbors know that Measure 105 would throw out the law that protects Oregonians from unfair racial profiling.”
